LMC Interactive Services has been honouring its commitment to adding value to the business world, by launching an initiative to encourage professionals to create a network of support to help them accomplish greater goals.
LMC Interactive Services recently investigated the notion that individuals are the average of the five people they spend the most time with.
The motivational speaker and self-help guru Jim Rohn related this theory to the law of averages, which states that any given situation will be the average of all outcomes.
Rohn’s theory goes on to suggest that an individual is substantially influenced by the five people that they spend the most time with.
LMC Interactive Services believes that this theory is particularly pertinent in business. The firm outlined that successful entrepreneurs all surround themselves with individuals that are focused, ambitious and determined to achieve their goals.
They believe that it is essential to spend time with driven and passionate peers who encourage them to be the best version of themselves.
However, LMC Interactive Services also highlighted that it could also be problematic is a professional is spending a majority of their time with people who do not share their values as they will eventually contribute to their failure.
This investigation has now led the firm to launch an initiative to help professionals build better support networks within their workforce. They now plan to encourage aspiring entrepreneurs to not only surround themselves with people who share similar ambitions but to also be open to making new friends and growing their network of like-minded professionals.
LMC Interactive Services will now be helping their workforce to build their own support system by encouraging collaboration through regular meetings and workshops. The firm will also be actively working to connect their contractors with industry experts from across the US at regular events, where they can form connections and gain new perspectives.
Speaking about the firm’s commitment to supporting their workforce to build their networks, Managing Director Lawrence Randall says “In business, you are definitely most influenced by the company you keep. That’s why we think it’s important for entrepreneurs to only surround themselves with like-minded, positive individuals who are committed to helping you succeed. We want all of our contractors to achieve, and that’s why we will continue to honour our commitment to nurturing talent by sharing the tools needed to build a brighter future.”
